1 CORINTHIANS 13:2
“And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.”
How can we utter words of knowledge and have the mustard-seed sized faith that moves mountains without love? I don’t have the answer, but I know that these gifts are from the Lord. When God gives us gifts, they often are not for us. The beneficiaries of our gifts are other people. It can be easy to steward gifts selfishly, but God wants to use us to share Himself with the world! When others experience us, do they know the source of our faith?
"IT'S NOT A SECRET THAT WITHOUT HIM, WE ARE NOTHING."
LORD, thank you for trusting me with the gifts of your Spirit. Please show me how to use my gifts to lead others to you. Forgive me for taking your goodness for granted and for denying you the glory you deserve. Thank you that I am nothing without you.
