“He sent out his Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy!”
God healed His people by sending out His Word. The Bible says that Jesus was the Word that became flesh. God gave people a taste of the healing found in Jesus years before he came to the earth! What is our response when we receive healing from the Lord? Do we run to tell people about the fantastic work He did? In the story of the ten lepers, only one turned back to thank Jesus for the healing. Jesus said, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” (Luke 17:19) Are we like the one leper who took the time to express his gratitude, or do we jump into our routine as soon as we can?
"GOD GAVE PEOPLE A TASTE OF THE HEALING FOUND IN JESUS YEARS BEFORE HE CAME TO THE EARTH!"
LORD, thank you for healing me inside and out. Forgive me for not giving you credit when good things happen in my life and for blaming you when bad things happen. Let my lips sing your praise so that all the earth would know that you are God!
