"Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you.”
In yesterday’s devotion, I mentioned some of the extreme persecution experienced by our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. Remember, God is with those who are persecuted for His sake. He gives grace to those who humble themselves before Him. What can man do to us that God cannot use for His glory and our good? For the joy set before Him, Christ endured the cross. Therefore, as we conform to His image, we must endure suffering, praising God we are counted worthy to suffer on His behalf. It is a blessing to suffer with Jesus.
"As Christians, we are required to love our enemies even though it is very difficult to do that when they make you suffer, or when they harm or kill your loved ones!”
- Esther, Eritrean Believer
